Sausage and Cheddar Biscuits

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cups flour

  • 2tsp garlic seasoning

  • 2tsp salt

  • 1tbsp baking powder

  • 1/4 cup butter, softened

  • 1 1/2 cups plain greek yogurt

  • 5 large eggs

  • 1 1/2 cups spinach

  • 6 chopped basil leaves

  • 2tbsp fresh chives

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1lb cooked sausage

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400F

  2. Mix together flour, garlic seasoning, salt, and baking powder.

  3. Add in softened butter and mix till crumble like texture.

  4. Add yogurt and beaten eggs, mix till almost combined.

  5. Add chopped spinach, herbs, shredded cheddar cheese, and cooked sausage. Mix until combined.

  6. Scoop 12 even portioned biscuit like shapes onto a baking sheet (I use an ice cream scoop).

  7. Bake at 400F for 6minutes, then reduce heat to 350F for 15-20minutes until golden brown.
